Liveflatout LLC — RiderCoachConnect Effective Date: 4/23/26
Liveflatout LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the RiderCoachConnect platform, which includes the RiderCoachConnect website, iOS application, and Android application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect

- Account Information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
- User Content: Photos and videos you upload to ride diary entries, community posts, or other areas of the Service.
- Profile Information: Any additional details you choose to add to your profile, such as your role (student, trainer, or barn owner) and barn affiliations. Your birth year, and (on iPhone, if you agree) an age range shared by Apple
Information Collected Automatically
- Analytics Data: We use Google Analytics to collect usage data such as pages visited, session duration, device type, operating system, and general interaction patterns. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
- Crash Reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs and diagnostic data from our applications. This may include device state, stack traces, and device identifiers to help us identify and fix issues.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for the purpose of delivering push notifications and improving the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.

- Diagnose technical problems and improve app stability.
- Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support.
3. Sharing of Information Between Users
RiderCoachConnect is designed to facilitate communication between horse riding students and trainers. As part of the Service's core functionality:
- Trainers may view ride diary entries, photos, videos, and other content submitted by students who are associated with them or who have requested a review.
- Community posts are visible to other members of the Service as determined by the posting context (e.g., barn-level or public).
You control what content you share through the Service. Please be mindful that information you post may be viewed by other users.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect information from you:

AI Ride Critique
When you choose to request an AI critique of a ride video, the video file you selected is sent from our storage to Google Cloud Vertex AI for analysis by a Gemini large language model. No data about you personally — your name, email, or account identifiers — is sent with the request; only the video itself and the focus preset you chose (for example, "Equitation" or "Dressage"). Google processes the video on our behalf under a paid Vertex AI customer agreement, does not retain the video beyond the time needed to generate a response, and does not use the content to train its models.
The written critique returned by Vertex AI is stored in our database and made visible only to you and your connected trainers. AI critique is strictly optional, triggered per video by an explicit tap, subject to a monthly per-student limit, and can be disabled app-wide by the operator at any time. AI-generated output is labeled as such in the app and is not a substitute for your trainer's professional feedback.
AI Coaching
Riders without a trainer can ask for AI coaching on a ride. When you do, the ride's date, type, duration, horse name and tags, your written reflection, your message to your coach, your current goal (title, detail and target date), and the date, type and tags of your five most recent rides are sent to Google Cloud Vertex AI for a response from a Gemini large language model. No data about you personally, such as your name, email or account identifiers, is sent with the request. Google processes this on our behalf under a paid Vertex AI customer agreement, does not retain it beyond the time needed to generate a response, and does not use it to train its models. The coaching response is stored in our database and is visible only to you; it is deleted if you delete your account. Coaching is optional, requested with your permission, subject to a monthly limit, and can be disabled app-wide by the operator at any time. It is labeled as AI-generated in the app and is not a substitute for professional instruction.
We also check the same information for signs that you may be at risk of harm, such as self-harm, suicidal thoughts, disordered eating, or abuse. If we find them, we show you support resources instead of AI feedback. Where this involves information about your health or wellbeing, we process it to protect your vital interests and those of others.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it by law.
User-uploaded content (photos and videos) will be deleted when the associated content is removed or when your account is deleted.
6. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
- Children's Privacy
RiderCoachConnect is for riders aged 13 and over.
When you create an account, we ask for your birth year so we can check that you are 13 or over. We store your birth year and whether you are a teen (13–17) or an adult (18 or over). We do not ask for your full date of birth.
On iPhone, we also ask Apple for an age range (under 13, 13–17, or 18 and over). You or your parent can decline to share it. Apple tells us only the range, never your date of birth. If Apple's answer and your birth year disagree, we use whichever is younger and ask you again the next time you open the app.
If you tell us you are under 13, we do not create an account, and the only thing stored is a note on that device so the app does not ask again straight away. Trainer and Parent accounts are for adults aged 18 and over.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Riders aged 13 to 17 can use RiderCoachConnect. We recommend that a parent or guardian reads this Privacy Policy with them and supervises their use of the Service.
8. Push Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send push notifications to your device. These notifications may include alerts about trainer reviews, homework assignments, ride diary activity, and other Service-related updates. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's system settings or within the app's notification preferences.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of certain data collection (e.g., analytics, push notifications).
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information below.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Service and updating the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
